Get familiar with the Information Center content so you will be ready to help onboard youth into Philly 4 Life and make the most of their experience. Here are some highlights of the key steps:
- Watch the brief informational videos created especially for our Adult Allies.
- Make sure youth fill out a short online survey on their current knowledge, attitudes and behaviors. This will allow us to measure how participating in Philly 4 Life positively impacts youth.
- Sample the course/curriculum for yourself. Then you will understand exactly how young people will move through the process.
- Use the culturally-relevant postcards and digital media as springboards to discuss each of the four major lessons with your assigned youth.
- Make a warm connection to a local mental wellness service provider, so youth will be aware of behavioral health resources if/when they are needed.
